Sorry Wulfie, Thanksgiving themed movies are worth a point, and somehow in the horror genre is worth two.

Oops, I forgot. Just finished a Real Ale Brewhouse Brown from Blanco, Texas..... in the Texas Hill Country, 70 miles or so from where the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed.
Opening up a Real Ale Lost Gold IPA. Cheers sinners!

Wow, simply put, Blood Freak used an old and tired plot vehicle, SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER, the "it was all a bad dream", or in the days of the hippies, "just a bad trip man", SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER ends.
So terrible movie, and one thing never mentioned when people talk about this X-Pac of a 'film' is that it has a Cannibal Holocaust moment. They chop a chicken's head off for no freaking reason at exactly the one hour mark.
The movie a few minutes before the chicken massacre had one of those 1970s scenes where you wonder "how did they do that.... was that a scene from a snuff film?". Very gory (Guerrero!) and realistic scene involving a bandsaw used at the hands of the trippin' Turkey-Man.
This one gets a Gobbledygooker thumbs down (I love those Guerreros). I did love the narrator who continuously smokes a cigarette while preaching about the ills of drug use, only to get a fit of coughing prior to the finale.
I'll probably watch it next year and bring it to a Thanksgiving gathering. You know, share the pain with those you love. Cheers!

Just got my four-movie dvd of the probably lousy director, Sam Katzman. And, Oh Yeah! The Giant Claw is next, and I have three terrible movies to watch next October including The Creature with the Atom Brain.
The fifties really sucked in this country. Give me the twenties or sixties anytime. Rabble-rousing years like the ones we are soon to see again...... Cheers to Sausage the protest dog!

I haven't done anything that doesn't involve playing skyrim since it released on the 11th. Though I did watch the newest episode of My Little Pony on youtube the other day.

Oh, I tracked down the Thanksgiving grindhouse movie.
It really is just a fake trailer that played in between Planet Terror and that other grindhouse movie I won't watch, because I don't like Quentin Tarrantino or his cool friends' ways. You can find the trailer on Youtube.

Just watched The Giant Claw. The monster was a giant bird with teeth that looked like a goofy buzzard from an anti-matter universe millions of miles away. The movie was the turkey.
Zero points earned, and looks like I won.
You bastards better watch more Christmas movies than me next month. I've only watched two in my life and Scrooged was one of them. I refuse to win again. Bastards.

Just made myself a Michelada with a crappy new local beer, Austin Beerworks Peacemaker Extra Pale Ale. Extra weak, that's why it needed to be upgraded to a Michelada, and sweat is rolling down my face. Spicy shit, tastes good now. Cheers you bastards!
