here's my John Carpenter tribute/montage piece with the finished inks and the prismacolour warm grey shades added to it, still thinking about adding some colour to the background but might just end up leaving it white.

Sir, thank you. I've never watched art in progress before. Very informative and enjoyable. I love how things are progressing, but I love the simplicity of the pencils, especially John Carpenter and young Michael. Good stuff. Let me know if you ever want to take a stab at a hopduvel. A Hop Devil in a field of hop vines to his left and barley stocks to his right. Just in case you are ever bored.

Lifted from the almighty Wikipedia.
Asse is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant.
Lacking any mineral resources, being far from any navigable watercourses and being in close proximity to other larger centres such as Aalst, Dendermonde and Brussels, Asse never developed into an important commercial, political or industrial centre but remained a locally important market town. There was some brewing and marketing of the local hop production.
Hopduvel Festival
The Hopduvel (Hopdevil) represents the storm that often hit Asse-Ternat at the end of the month of August. The hop vine crop, which was almost ready for harvest, could be severely damaged if the hop vines were knocked to the ground. it is thought that the ' hopduvel ' was invented by the hop farmers to personify this danger and was institutionalised by the founder of the “Hopduvelfeesten” (Hop Devil Festival), Eugeen Van den Broeck. Every year the Hopduvelfeesten is organised after the hop harvest in order to have a good harvest in the following years. This is symbolically done by burning the effigies of hopduvels that have been assembled by the local farmers and for which a contest is organised to elect the best (ugliest) Hopduvel. This tradition is still continued even though there has been very little hop production in the area since the 1970s.
And the hopdevil has been interpreted in art by who knows how many people. I just like that statue. Looks creepy. A demon hanging out on a light post.
Hooray beer and hooray horror!

I personally wished I took a picture of him with just the basic outlining inks around his figure and my greytones from prisma I think that version looked the best but oh well. Live and learn. here is the rough quick sketch side by side with the finished pencils for my piece based off of Count Sam Gregula! closer shot of the finished pencils of Count Sam Gregula! The finished inks for Count Sam Gregula! had a blast doing this one up! Here are my pencils for my Davey Jones piece, these pencils are a bit rough and quick was trying out some new techniques too see how it would look in the end. here are two shots of the inks for Davey Jones along with the grey shading from my warm grey prismacolour markers god I love these things haha. and last here's my piece side by side sort of with the original photo that I used for reference.

All hail the Big Daddy zombie!
Loved the Lloyd Kaufman. I hate to say it, but isn't he cute, in a disturbingly weird way?
