Death Race 200o really would be an awesome remake. I've always loved the movie, it could easily made remade with a big budget.

Cool, I like Jason Statham, he seems to be perfect for the film. I hope they keep in the "Handgrenande" ;D

I've always wanted a big budget remake of "Plan 9 From Outer Space" Next time we have Conrad on we'll see what he thinks.

Personally I would like to see C.H.U.D. remade. The technology that exists today could make it way more scary. Also, outside the realm of horror, I think a Flash Gordon remake would be cool. Ming rocks!

The only movie listed I would like to see remade is Flash Gordon. The movies I already like, I like. Why remake what you already like?
A movie I thought sucked because it strayed too much from Robert Crumb's work is Fritz the Cat. If he was attached to the project, I'd watch a re-do. Yes, I'm serious.
And just because I looked forward to the prequel Star Wars trilogy for almost two decades and was so completely let down, I would support a "retake" of these movies without Little Anakin, metachlorians (spelling error and I'm proud), Jar Jar Binks, a cloned boy named Boba, and absolutely no input, ideas, direction, or anything at all from George "The Hack" Lucas. He would be banned from whatever continent shooting occurs in.
Shit, he should be banned from Hollywood, and ILM, and booted out of Skywalker Ranch which in my opinion belongs to the fans of his "original" vision.
Yep, I detest that old man.

I enjoyed the Flash Gordon series they had on a couple years back. I thought they did a good job staying true to the flavor of the serials while mixing in a bit of the over the top fun from the 70's movie. I'm not sure what prequels you're talking about. George Lucas was tragically killed in an accident shortly after Return of the Jedi hit theaters and was never able to make more of them.
