I thought it was a good movie. Very different. I actually thought I was in the wrong theater when the movie started.

I'm glad to hear you liked it Neal. I see the ads and immediately really want it to be good for some reason. Can't wait to see it.

Wulf, do yourself a favor, watch this film. Jack and Golgo, I'm glad you liked this movie. The rest of you really should support this on the big screen. This might be make it or break it for our genre to be taken seriously by Hollywood. Horror fans need to support this film with their cash.

I don't get to see movies in the theater anymore because of my fucked up leg. Can't sit in the theater seating for long enough without being wracked with pain. We do have a theater pub up here named CHunky's though that I've been thinking about trying, anyone have any experience with those? I know Pres. Clinton tweeted about going to one not long ago.

Are you on the mend, and what happened?
Before my spinal-fusion surgery I could barely take watching a movie must less a double feature in most theaters.
Down here we have the Alamo Drafthouse, many of them. They rule, mucho. I think they were the original with this concept. Here's Wikipedia.
The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is an American cinema chain founded in 1997 in Austin, Texas, United States that is famous for its strict policy of requiring its audiences to maintain proper cinemagoing etiquette. It has screens in nine locations across Texas and one in Winchester, Virginia, with four more to be built in San Francisco, New York City, Littleton, Colorado, and Ashburn, Virginia. Its headquarters is located in Austin.
Wulfie, get yourself well. Cheers!

It's an ongoing thing I've been working with since 2003 ish. If you've seen any of the pics I've posted you know I'm a big guy, I've always had to stay active to keep my weight reasonably controlled. I hiked a ton, fished, hunted, lifted weights, etc.. even owned a gym for a while. I usually hung around 260 to 280. Once the pain started to get bad it cut back on my activity and I would put on a little weight which contributed to more pain and less activity yadda yadda. Today I run around 500 lbs but the upside is that I'm so used to being in pain at this point I've been able to just "work through it" lately and make some progress.

Finally watched it spoiler free and loved it. Liked how they mixed great practical effects with great CGI.
