Damn, I want to add Danny Boyle to my list. Sunshine was a gorgeous looking movie! It's up there with 2001 for me!

Candyman, a great movie, was written and directed by Bernard Rose based on a story by Clive Barker.
The movie had three producers, and old Clive was the Executive Producer. He has only directed six movies, only two I've heard of, Nightbreed and Hellraiser. The rest sounded pretty bad. He is an imaginatative author, obviously by the number of his stories that others have turned into great films. He is more like a Stephen King than a George Romero or John Carpenter.
