What are your favorite "creepy" songs? No limits, as long as for whatever reason, YOU consider it creepy, even if it is campy.
Mine:
Pink Floyd's "Careful with That Ax Eugene" and "One of These Days".
"The Monster Mash" ( I love the Hayseed/Dixie cover- a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that rules, I'll tell ya what)
"Creepy", that seventies funk song
"Brujo" or anything by Screaming Jay Hawkins, who sounds identical to Kamala singing with Kamala, Jr. I thought they were lip-synching Screaming Jay until I listened to the wrestling inspired lyrics. I love Kamala and Son.
Marylin Manson, "The Beautiful People" to "Sweet Dreams (are Made of This)"
"Down with the Sickness", by Disturbed but I prefer the camp of Richard Cheeses' lounge singer version, both from the remake of Dawn of the Dead
The soundtrack to An American Werewolf in London, from "Bad Moon Rising" to every single version of "Blue Moon" I have ever heard, including the Shangrilas and Elvis Presley.
"The Devil Went Down to Georgia", whether the classic Charlie Daniels Band original or Primus's cover.
"Tubular Bells".
Leadbelly's and Nirvana's accoustic versions of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night".
Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" reminds me of Zombieland. Creepy-wise, I'd add "One" and "Orion", something about that last song, like Cliff's bass solo.
Slayer's "South of Heaven", "Raining Blood", "Dead Skin Mask", and "Seasons in the Abyss".
Pantera's "Cemetary Gates".
"Singing in the Rain", thank you Mr. Kubrick.
The themes from Psycho and Halloween.
All the songs used in The Devil's Rejects.
Robert Johnson's "Crossroads meeting/selling of his soul to Old Nick" inspired songs, i.e. songs about the Devil.
I pulled of another list. Did I err? Your turn guys.
