Just watched this in the last 24 hours on DVD. Fun stuff. Check it out. From 2009.
The end sets up a sequel (Hello Hollywood, bankroll it!) in Antarctica in the Mountains of Madness.
Yes I started to read up on the Cthulhu Mythos.

that's alright wulf.. i'm just relieved it's quenten ''yogi soth oth your not acting like a professional what are you some kind of deaf blind idiot or something'' i'm sure h.p.would loved dialog like that. after that they could talk for 20 minutes about whether it was sexual to give cthulu a footrub. i'm glad wedon't have to see that
