Just watched Long Weekend an Australian horror movie from 1978 about a couple who aren't getting along and decide to go camping out on the beach. They show disrespect to nature and things start to happen.
I thought this was a decent film not great ,but decent. The acting and cinematography was good and some of the animal attacks were good. The problem was some of the animal attacks looked really bad which took away from the film.
Lessons learned from Australian horror movies: everything in Australia is trying to kill you.

I'd like to see this. There's a certain podcast about Aussie horror you should listen to sometime. Your last line hit on something I have been thinking about for a thread. This chug of beer Cheers! is to ya JAS.

That's a lesson you can learn from just watching any documentary about OZ. Everything there, even the cute stuff, is poisonous or vicious, or both.
