BOARDING HOUSE aka HOUSEGEIST(1982) mega bad film i saw a while back at a mini festival. very very bad acting & very very bad special effects. The film claims to be shot in Horrorscope, but this is really a fancy way of saying it has been shot on video. I thought it was garbage when I first saw it, as a teen. Nowadays, I get a certain enjoyment out of bad, shot on video disaster pieces. There's usually horrible acting or special effects that just make me laugh. In the same vein as this one, I have to mention "Sledge Hammer" & "Horror House on Highway 5".

Damn, how could I forget "Beast in the Cellar". Even if it was a free rental you'd no doubt feel ripped off.

To me a truly lame or bad horror movie is a film that has nothing redeeming in it.
Sharp teeth had horrible acting, annoying sound effects, no monster ever seen (OMG a body of water!! aaahhh), and had this subplot with all these slutty women that were supposed to be hot students ,but were morbidly obese and in their 50s/60s. IT WAS COMPLETE SHIT.
