I don't see many Korean horror films but I have to admit they are a bit of a guilty pleasure. I like the looks of this one, the trailer gives it a bit of a Lovecraftian "Shoggoth loose on an oil rig" look; which probably contributes to it's appeal. It's being done in 3D and for imax with an august release date in Korea, I can't find information about when the US release will be but it makes sense there will be one, the producers have claimed it as a picture made to compete with Hollywood.

I've been hooked on Korean horror since seeing "The Host". Not particularly frighteneing but a great story with interesting characters and just really well made. It seems like if you want to see a truly terrifying horror film anymore you have to see an Asian one.

This looks like it could be a decent flick. I absolutely loved The Host.

Only seen the bloodiest kill scenes from Battle Royale.
I agree about I Saw the Devil. One of the best new movies I saw this year. Of course I love Old Boy. Madame Vengeance is next on my list.
Wherever "The Eye" was made, I hated that movie.
So what is Sector 7 about? Guess I'll google it.
