Hey all, My name's Aaron, and I wrote the screenplay for the new episodic horror show, TV FACE. I was just wondering if anybody had any comments about the quality of the show so far? It concerns a horror VHS collector who gets in over his head when he finds the rarest videotape in existence. When dark forces come looking for the tape, our hero must fight for his life, or lose the holy grail of his VHS collection. The show is at www.tvface.tv We're currently on Episode 3, and I'd love to hear anything, be it positive or negative, about our show. As far as filmmaking goes, I'll also answer any questions about getting the screenplay made, raising the money, pulling off the FX, etc. Thanks, and I hope you like the show! -Aaron

That was mighty nutty! I watched all three episodes last night when I only intended to watch the first, so that's something. The endings are abrupt, but that only makes me want to click to see the next one.
It's very visually impressive. The colors and the way the world shakes (particularly for the gimp with the chains) is quite cool. Some of the touches are odd (if she was whipped with a chain that huge by a guy who shook the world, she'd probably be dead rather than scarred), but it's mostly interesting.
I had to read the description to understand that Mitch was an illustrator (I thought he was a director), but I guess having the explanation on the same page as the streaming video is okay. Overall, I found it very entertaining. The quirks (like the film-nut explanation of colors in cartoons at the beginning of the first episode) were tremendous. Right off the bat I figure this is an abstract or strange show, so as a viewer I didn't demand everything make sense right away. Things seemed to make more sense around the end of the third ep., too.
My only gripe is that the relationships are kind of weird. I thought Mitch and a video dealer were friends, hence why one trusted the other, but then Mitch thinks little or nothing of blowing his head off. Similarly a character is introduced as Mitch's best friend, yet Mitch has nothing but cold words for him. The harsh way people treated each other when they were supposed to be friendly was the only thing that took me out of your story.

Hey Riren,
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm really glad you like the show so far, and let me see if I can clear up some confusion about the episodes.
Mitch actually doesn't blow Joe's head off, that was really a dream, and in the beginning of the third episode, he wakes up from this dream, to find someone in his room. Did you know it was just a dream, and just felt it odd that Mitch would even think about doing this? Or did it really come across like Mitch killed Joe? There's been some confusion about this...because things clip along at such a fast pace, I think it's hard to distinguish that it's just a dream, and I apologize for any unneccesary confusion.
More information will be revealed about the relationship between Mitch and Randy, who should have been tagged on the show as Mitch's EX-Best Friend.
In the coming episodes, more things will come into sharper focus, and the stakes will be raised when a strange villain is introduced...
Again, thanks for the feedback, and let me know if you have any other questions about the show.

Thanks for clearing things up, Aaron. I actually mistook the dream for reality. I'm relieved that Joe's alive. For some reason he's my favorite character - something about his personality and that really nerdy cartoon colors thing in the first episode. I didn't even realize he'd been sleeping when he sat up on his bed - the room looks so small that I thought he was just lounging on the bed like I did in mine. Because the cut is so fast, and because we go right to another (much more dream-like) sequence in the yellow room right after, I didn't put together that the murder was part of a dream.
Labeling him Mitch's "EX BEST FRIEND" would make the issue between them a lot clearer, and also be pretty funny. I highly recommend that.
Thanks again for sharing the show with us. I look forward to the next episode and recommend everybody give it a look.

I was actually waiting for a few more to roll out so that I could watch them all in a row.
I re-watched episode three to re-familiarize myself, and am now sure that if it came up as "Mitch's ex-bestfriend" the whole scene would make more sense and even be a little funny.
In episode four the caller refers to "the latest episode." While he's obviously eccentric, the phrasing "the latest issue" would make more sense in relation to a comic book. Otherwise, this speaker has a great sense of character. I love how he calls Mitch "Illustrator."
It was really surprising that Mitch pulled a gun out of that bag.
In the fifth episode, the notion of her reading her own actions is really cool. I'm hoping down the line that the Jessica-character tries to fight or deviate against the narration, if this concept is kept up.
Poor Joe...
