I went on the record last week saying I couldn't bring myself to go to ANOTHER remake or ANOTHER Rob Zombie movie. Even at my most capricious, I couldn't go see a movie that was both at the same time. Read Bloody Disgusting's review today, and they ripped this flick to shreds. I might, might, MIGHT give it a chance if the WYH crew loves it. Otherwise I'm just going to find that Producer's Cut of Halloween 666 and let it be.

i would like to,but i love the original & im really not a fan of remakes.i just hope rob pulls it off & it does well.adam green at frightfest said the same & he said the critics will be at you from the start when you remake a classic.

I don't want to give away our opinions of it until the show. I added a poll on the main site though www.withoutyourhead.com

I saw the movie tonight. I really enjoyed it. Especially the first hour. I would put it right behind Halloween 1&2. However, my brother thought it was terrible. I'll have to listen to the WYH gang's thoughts on the film now. I was lucky to see the film as the local theater was gonna close because my brother (who works at the theater) and I were the only people there to see the film. So the lady who runs the theater was telling my brother to start closing up when 4 teenagers rolled up and said they were here to see Halloween. I had not been that happy to see a batch of slow teens in my life. One of the teenage girls jumped out of her seat like 10 times during the last hour of the movie. She was so scared she was using her cell phone like a night light. Been awhile since I have seen people get freaked out at a horror movie. On a side note, before the show, my brother took me up and showed me the projector room. Now our local theater only has two screens and the theater itself is very old. But I was amazed at how old the projector was. It was made in 1979. I thought the building would burn down when my brother fired it up. Also, the movie reel was huge!

i thought it was bad ass like most people say the first half was great. i think neil said on the show he thought maybe they could have just made the movie all about him as a kid, i bet it would have been killer then,. but i doubt the studio would want no michal as an adult. the 2nd half while fine wasnt nearly as inspired as the first half.
