Just thinking in my head about actors I really respect and it doesn’t seem anyone has come out recently that I respect like a Jack Nicholson. It doesn’t get any cooler then him. Is there anyone out there that you think could gain as much respect in the future like Jack?
I think Giovanni Ribisi is a great actor. If he’d land some solid roles I think he could.

I have always really disliked Ribisi. I'd say Ed Norton.

Paul Giamatti (Lady in the Water, American Splendor, Sideways, Shoot 'Em Up) has really broken out and shown he can both do artistic and fun films. Not saying he's necessarily the next Jack Nicholson (hard to be the next-anything at 40), but he's one of my favorites out there and doesn't seem to get quite the level of recognition I'd expect. He's going to be in The Haunted World of El Superbeasto and the Bubba Ho-Tep sequel, too.

Norton,Giamatti and Depp. That's a pretty damn good group. Christopher Lee did a million movies and is still going strong. I'm picking the blonde kid in Halloween to become an A list actor in the years to come.

I agree... I like Giovanni Ribisi also. I have seen him in a couple of movies and am impressed.
