I've been kind of obsessed with Gilliam movies over the last few years. I've always been a fan of 12 Monkeys, Munchausen and Time Bandits. I went back and watched some of his other movies and have really come to love basically all of his work. I might even give Brother's Grimm and Tideland another show. I can't imagine myself ever liking Tideland though. Anyway, I recently picked up "Dark Knights & Holy Fools" and "Dreams and Nightmares". The first one is sort of a biography of all Gilliam's work, including artwork of his that has never been published before. The 2nd one is mainly a chronicling of his making of Brother's Grimm. It's more detailed about a specific short period of time where as the first one spans his career and a bit of his childhood. Both are really interesting. There is also "Battle for Brazil" and "Losing the Light" about his Munchausen movie. I think Munchausen is his only movie to not have a commentary track by him.

Oh man I wish he would have done Gormenghast, Don Quixote and Bad Omens. Those would have been great!
