I have NO desire to see that movie "Jumper" but I noticed on a commercial last night you get a digital copy for stuff like your Ipod when you buy the DVD. What are peoples thoughts on this?
It would have to be an mp4 to fit on an ipod and those can be easily converted into a divx or mpg or something. SO is it just me who thinks this digital copy isn't going to do a whole hell of allot to help hollywoods problem with downloading?

The special edition of Rambo, the 2nd disc is just a digital copy of the movie. Seems like a rip off to me. I can see them selling it by itself but not everyone is going to care about that. Me personally I have 0 interest in having a digital copy of the movie.

We old timers knew how to enjoy things better. The silver screen is the optimum way to watch a movie, but I am a COMPULSIVE dvd buyer.
Digital copies as a bonus disk is like selling your audience air.

We have a 55" wide screen plasma so I'm perfectly happy watching a dvd or streaming movie. On a 2x2 ipod screen, no way. Hell, the only reason I would by one for my psp is because I can patch it through the TV and UMDs are way cheaper than DVDs.
