Hi all,
I've listened to the entire archive, and realized we all sort of wish we could take some movies and make them into something better. Actually, a lot of fans do, and it's called fanedits. I'm only plugging it here (www.fanedit.org) because it's legit and legal, in partnership with amazon.com, and provides different visions of what fans wished some movies would actually turn out to be. One of the latest edits is of "Event Horizon", now renamed "Killer Horizon", which was transformed into, and i quote, "a great horror flick, just in time for Halloween". The extensive library provides other horror fanedits, like Romero's Land of the Dead - Unrated Fancut.
Thank you and best wishes

That's cool dude. I heard once someone's version of Episode 1 of Star Wars was better than the one Lucas released.

That was what put the whole fanedit scene in motion. It's called The Phantom Edit, the annoying Jar-Jar Binks is virtually cut out from the movie, it had great media exposure at the time, and you can find it on the site, with a bonus commentary track by the editor. I strongly recommend people trying the fanedits out. I found a Blade Runner (my fav flick) Edit there, and watching it was an experience in itself, only comparable to watching BR for the first time. And there's cool horror flicks there, as i mentioned - like a version of The Rock's, Doom, that's actually scary...

This is so weird cause I just discovered fanedit.org last week and have been raving about how awesome it is. My favorite is Marvel 24 Awesome, man. I've been hooked ever since i stumbled into it. There's some true gems over there, too, and Marvel 24 is one of them, for sure - along with 82 horror fanedits! Spread the word, brother.
