Any fans of the classic British horror movies from Hammer studios?
I've been watching a lot of their classics with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, great stuff.
The Curse of Frankenstein and Horror of Dracula are especially awesome, both starring Lee and Cushing. And if you want to check out a very fun 70s vampire flick, Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter rules.
astrocreep, have you seen any of these? Assuming from your name you're a Rob Zombie fan, one fun thing I noticed in Curse of Frankenstein is it is where the "perhaps I'd better start from the beginning..." sound clip is from, used in White Zombie's song "Electric Head pt. 1"

I don't recall if I've seen The Curse of Frankenstein but I've seen Horror of Dracula several times, good stuff. I'll have to see if Captain Kronos is on netflix.

Classics. I own a box set of five dvds. The Mummy, The Curse of Frankestein (highly recommended, the good doctor is one of two monsters in the movie), Frankestein Must be Destroyed, Horror of Dracula, Dracula has Risen from His Grave, and Taste the Blood of Dracula. All are leagues better than 90% of modern attempts at horror.
And talking Brit, everybody has to watch The Wicker Man, the version with nine extra minutes tacked on.
About ten minutes still need to be discovered. Hopefully the only print isn't buried under a British roadway. To understand that comment watch the commentary track and listen to every word of Christopher Lee's. What a bad-ass that man is. Three Cheers for Mr. Lee!
