You have to see the new BBC Sweeney Todd with Ray Winstone. It's superb and subtle in its telling of the story. Best find we made on Deep Discount in a while.

I loved it. We will try and talk about it on an upcoming show, in the coffin segment

If we get Riren and Santo to watch it we could even have a round table.

If we get Riren and Santo to watch it we could even have a round table. Love to. EDIT: Not going to double post, but I just watched this today. Very interesting movie. I particularly loved the quick cuts between Mr. Todd's barber outfit and his wigless "work clothes." I'm totally up for joining a discussion of this one on WYH if you want me.

I’m all set. Just finished watching it. Great film horrific story. Strange I’ve never heard it before.
I remember my old barber who’s since retired told me about a movie he watched where a barber was threatening to cut somebody neck. Maybe it was another interpretation of the Sweeny Todd story.

I'm sure every barber has had that temptation at least once with a particularly crabby or jittery customer.

He a good man, he actually gave me my first straight razor that I’ve shaved with for sometime. I recently stop cause just can’t seem to get a close shave with it anymore. Might need to give it a sharpening.

I'm packing for another trip right now and won't be back this week - I'd love to join in on a discussion of the film if you're doing a segment on it another week, though. Not sure if there even is a WYH this week...
