The iconic movie critic show At The Movies comes to an end next week. I grew up watching Siskel and Ebert, even though I didn't always agree with them it was one of my favorite shows. I enjoyed the Ebert and Roeper ones after siskel died. When both were replaced I stopped watching.

i liked the show back in the eighties when it first started . i hardly ever agreed with those guys but it's always fun to watch an argument and or join in one with people that can't hear you... or maybe i just have problems

In the mid to late eighties I read his weekly column in the entertainment section of The El Paso Times, "El Tiempo". Joe Bob is a classic and a man among men.

just on a side note ebert seems to have been fan of the genre in the 70s and then he turned on it as the 80s brought the dawn of slasher flick
