No worries good man, those twelve ounces are called getting my self in shape. You should see my Guinness races in the past in multiple bars, my specialty event pre-cadaver bones in the old neck. Guinness equals milk to me. 40 oz.? My pale narrow ass, sir, takes your challenge and pushes the damned envelope. And then I will set that envelope on fire. It is beer after all, my better half.
Talked to a friend about your 40 oz. challenge. Don't know when but all I'll say is that I bounced an idea of of him. It involves my monster Belgian ale glass that I have never filled up to the top. Three 750 mls bottles of way-out-of-date Triple Karmeliet (8% abv), went in the glass, and the glass was still half empty (I'm a realist, not an optimist). I figure it takes over five bottles of 750 ml beers to spill out of that monster. I'll do a liter and a half of strong Belgian beer in ten minutes. More alcohol, more color, more hops, more pain. I am the man to take a beer challenge, but I ain't drinking no lousy forty my friend.

No worries, three was my limit, once. When I finally go for it, I'm going to drink two 750s at the most, one at the least. Hell, that's a lot in ten minutes, and should still get me off the hook from drinking a 40.
If you ever NEED a forty, try Old English, St. Ides, Crazy Horse, or any of the "Bulls". Mickey's was okay. Colt 45 was the worst malt liquor I ever did dump down the drain. The bottom of the bottom of the barrel.
But ya should be drinking beer made in Northern California like a Hempen Ale from Humbolt! Cheers!

A little premature but I want to welcome the next member of the WYHverse. I will deliver a new member within the next 48 hours. So that said, Maisha, sign up, make up a handle, contribute here, and I'll make it up to ya soon. So premature, but you WILL be a part of this, so welcome to WYH, and Cheers lady!
In honor of our NEXT member I'm drinking a beer I've been cellaring since I bought it in 2004. A seven year old Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA (21 ABV, twenty-one! percent alcohol by volume ya'll!). Delicioso. Cheers my fellow creatures of the night!
