This was a pretty well made movie. It really didn't stick to the real story of Ed Gein though. Kane Hodder was actually good in it, but he looks nothing like the real guy. The real guy was an old little farmer, Kane is a huge body builder type. I didn't like how they tied in his victims/hostages with the Sheriff and Deputy. That seemed a little hokey. I think it would have been a better film if they just didn't call it Ed Gein or stuck more to what he really did. It didn't even touch on a lot of crazy stuff the real Ed Gein did like make furniture and lamp shades outr of human skin, or tell little kids he babysat that human faces he ripped off corpses were shrunken heads from some island.

That dude's real life story is plenty weird to begin with. How can you make a movie about him without touching on it? Did he just kill people?

They had some pretty weird scenes of him wearing the mask and the suit made out of women's skin. He killed a bunch of people in the movie, I would have liked more of the crazy stuff he actually did. Less of him killing people he really didn't, and less of the love story with the deputy and his girlfriend.
