Oh my God, I'm getting my ass handed to in this contest. I'm going to start cheating. I'll watch anthology horror movies and count them as 4 each.
I watched About Schmidt recently. I know, Kathy Bates' fat, scary ass doesn't count.

Just started a Troma Team Production with one of my favorite musicians playing a man of the cloth, Preacherman Bob.
This movie might not be a gem, but it'll be better than the last. Except for the Vodun dancing, viper-milking, rum, fornicating, and women in glamorous swimming pools, it sucked weinies.
Buttcrack, 1998, and the glory of Mojo Nixon! Shit, I'm gonna have to open another beer. Mojo's rules. Cheers!

LOB-14.25, Mojo is a crazy man.
I think tonight is a good night for a classic.

Just watched the prequel of the remake of the movie that told a short story from an old sci-fi mag. The Thing (2011). It was pretty decent, but I still wish I hadn't watched it. Oh well.

I can taste that cold beer already, and it is Texas cold and delicious! Cheers!

I'm done sweating anyone, even Mr. No-Pants up there in wicked cold-land. I'm gonna cruise right smack hard into that cold brewski!
Stanley Kubrick's horror and visual masterpiece. The Shining. This movie is art.
I've only seen one movie with Heath Slater, and I only mourn overdosing in rasslers, so I didn't put his performance of the Joker on a post-humous pedestal. Don't get me wrong, his role was classic and may I say, perfect? But I felt that he was channeling Jack Nicholson's Joker, just waaaay darker for a more cynicle and "sophisticated" audience. Jack's Joker is my second favorite after good old Cesar Romero. Good times.
But my ADD got the better of me again. Back to The Shining. Jack Nicholson's performance here is the hands down best in the 101 year history of the genre. What a great movie. Makes up for the last few shlock-bombs I've watched in the last few days.
Better luck next year, and eat my dust! LOB-16.25

Just watched Halloween:H20 which I don't really like. Honestly I think only the original and remake possibly the second are actually good. The rest don't come nearly as close.
That's the problem when you turn a stand alone into a franchise.

I watched Halloween 3: Season of the Witch which contradicting the above post I actually like and think it's good it's just that I don't really consider it a Halloween film. I think it could've done better if it didn't have the whole Halloween name. I remember watching it when I was a kid, liking it, and then spent years trying to figure out what it was until to my surpise I found out it was part of the Halloween franchise.
I also watched Halloween 4 which isn't that good (there's a Halloween marathon) and have never really liked the whole psychic relative plot that they tried that was spawned from this movie.

I have wanted to watch Abbott and Costello meet Frankestein for at least thirty years. It definately counts, just like Club Dread counted for me.
I finally watched Seasons of the Witch a few years back. Though it has nothing to do with the franchise, I dig it.
Well truth be told, I'm sweating JAS again. I was gonna take two days off from horror watching, instead I got a 36 hour reprieve.
Right now I popped in Midnight Movie.
