Just watced The Evictors (1979) which was a surpisingly good film set in Lousiana from the 20s to 40s. The end had a pretty big twist. It also shows that if someone is breaking into your house and you have a gun just go upstairs, put your back to the wall, and let them come to you.
I also watched Tom Edison's Frankenstein which I found to be goofy ,but I liked the soundtrack. Also the monster looks like a cross between a gorilla, igor, swamp thing, and a mummy who also has long hair.

Just watched Never Torture A Duckling which does a good job of keeping you guessing until the end, makes great use of soundtrack dissonance, has some really disturbing stuff, and a great final kill off the cliff where instead of just falling flat the person keeps hitting the rocky cliffs until their face is completely smashed.

In the name of competition, I'm dropping the Lon Chaney, Jr. Frankestein abortion.

Right now, Universal's She-Wolf of London, I think from 1936. Time to get back to Red Stripe, what a slow night at work! Cheers!

Just watched The Blood on Satan's Claw which is the same company that made witchfinder general it is a dark grim movie ,but none the less very good. Three or four years ago I began watching this movie enjoyed it ,but fell asleep while watching it and couldn't remember the name after the past few years of searching I finally figured it out thanks to IMDB after watching Witchfinder General.

Alright, third gear. Just finished watching She-Wolf of London from 1946. A boring Elizabethian psychological "horror" film. Ug. LOB-23 Attachments:

A side note. Wow. What a list of movies we as a whole have watched this month. Cheers to us and the spirit of competition.

The Vincent Price classic, 1953's House of Wax. My first viewing ever. Much tongue-in-cheek humor. Enjoyable watch.
Here's my favorite scene. In the glory days before CGI, we had the magic of real flames. Great stuff.
Drinking a beer available year round, but aptly named for the season. Real Ale Brewing Company's Full Moon Pale Rye. I've loved this beer for over a dozen years, one of my stand-by beers. Cheers!

Just watched The Last House on the Left for the first time and I thought it was great
I also watched Santa Sange which is one disturbing fucking movie and that makes sense since it was made by the same guy who did El Topo which while I haven't seen is apparently considered one of the most disturbing of all time.

Just watched The Bat (1926). Bob Kane was influenced by this movie when he created Batman. I swear to ya, the 'bat-signal' idea came from here, watch the clips. A humorous, intentionally, little old gem.

Right now, The Bat (1959) starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead, whom I love. She was Samantha's mother in bewitched and starred in my favorite episode of the Twilight Zone, The Invaders, thanks in due to my older brother David for all those years of watching Twilight Zone maraathons with me. Cheers!

Just watched Attack of the Crab Monster a Roger Corma film about a crab that absorbs people's consciousness when it kill them, places there body into a crab body, and mocks them teleathically. It's funnier to talk about then actually watch. The ending is pretty funny "He gave his life. I know" abrupt cut to end.

The Bat (1959) was cool. Two red herrings, and Agnes Moorehead steals the show, and the movie co-stars Vincent Price. I recommend.
Pacifico Clara de Mejico es muy rico. Salud!

Time to switch back to color, like BLOOD freakin' RED. Just popped in and about to start Leatherface The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III. Dog WILL hunt!
EDIT. Had to share this trailer, my all-time favorite horror movie trailer. Salud!
