I am breaking up with you. So long ago you touched my heart in my youth. I have repeatedly made excuses for you in the company of others, for years. It's over. I expect only letdowns from you. George Romero, I will cherich the memories, but damn, you make awful movies. Even the remake of Dawn of the Dead has blown most of your works away. Deadtime Stories, Volume 2. A turd. I drank a very sour beer while watching this albatross around the neck of the horror genre. A Boulevard Smokestack Series Seasonal, Love Child No. 2. Extremely sour, but, sweeter than the payback from this "film". Cheers! LOB-36

Finished watching the first two episodes from Season 6 of Tales from the Crypt, Let the Punishment Fit the Crime (fun and funny) and Only Skin Deep (no humor and horrific). Fun times..... LOB-37

So I am not looking up her name, but the skank from Survivor who wrestled Sharmell, a class act, and whose ring entrance made The Awesome Kong wince, that "entertainer" was in the only weak link in an otherwise low-budet gem. Much fun and I think Nasty Neal and JAS would both dig this movie. The quality cheese that makes me a proud horror fan, a film that is so very everyman in production, and to that I say a Mexican cerveza Cheers! y Salud! Arriba! Drive-In HorrorShow. Oh, forgot to mention in a previous post, Burgess Meredith was the stand-in narrator for Rod Sterling in The Twilight Zone Movie, or so my ears tell me. Just bringing it up cause... It's time for The Twilight Zone!
Hey Ludite, I'd love your opinion on "Time Enough at Last". Share?

I watched Deadtime Stories: Volume 2 man both of those were dreadful. It's sad that the man who made the modern zombie, has to be involved with this crap. The best part was the second story ,but it still sucked pretty bad. I guess I've seen worse gore ,but man both of these sucked.

Hey LS. On a totally unrelated site I saw that trick used by one of the writers. If you post something and say it is only for one person, others will read/watch it too. So yep, only for JAS, but enjoy....
Watched two episodes of The Twilight Zone last night, Episode 8 from 1959, "Time Enough at Last" starring Burgess Meredith, and episode 22 from 1960, "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street".
Classics, I tell you what.

I am so surprised that Creepshow 3 is a very well made horror anthology (five shorts, all interrelated) directed by two directors, a First Assistant Director, a Second Assistant Director, and a Second Second Assistant Director, even the credits were fun.
Maybe the funnest movie I have watched this month and in quite a while. Watch it sometime, you will be very pleasantly surprised. Oh yeah, totally unrelated to the first two movies, and in it's own unique and fresh way, better than even the original.
And better than either volume of Deadtime Stories, I'll take Jake's word about that first movie, 'cause I don't plan on ever wasting my time on it. Damn, two movie creators I no longer have the time for. Some directors mature with age as artists, like Peter Jackson or Sam Raimi for example, others lose their magic/soul. Oh well, there are so many hungry young directors that will satisfy my love of movies, and some seasoned ones as well of course, shit look at Hitchcock, the man never lost his magic. The trick is to stay young at heart and true to yourself I suppose.
Don't have the energy to go to the store, so no beer tonight, so a very dry and thirsty Cheers! LOB-42

For the record, Blackenstein is worst than Deadtime Stories Volume 2 and I'm pissed at Ludite for putting the image of Rod Serling with his cock in his hand in the canvass known as my grey matter. No Cheers! for you.... You demented freaking Canadian. That's what I like about your countryfolk.

Just finished "Legacy of Terror", a 1974 episode of Kolchak the Nightstalker guest starring a very young Erik Estrada.
Carl Kolchak, I.N.S. reporter, tries to survive long enough in this episode to write a story about an "Apocalypse Cult" based on a resurected Aztec mummy and heart sacrifices of five sacrificial victims every 52 years. Erik Estrada says "I dig it" in this episode. Thumbs up from me.
Went to the store finally last night. Drank and drinking a Dominican lager, Presidente Cerveza Pilsener. Muy rico. Salud! and Banzai!

Oh LS, in my life it's not Rod Serling masturbating during the less dignified moments of my time here on earth, but God. (I won't tell the joke here about Jesus masturbating using his Stigmata.... Ooops, did I err?)
I hope Old Scratch, the Original Man in Black, good old Uncle Satan has a nice spot for me poolside in the VIP section. Hell is going to be a blast. Hot chicks in bikinis and tropical drinks with little umbrellas. Poolside and great tans. Boobies and twenty-something year old snatch, everywhere. And cold craft-made beers. The afterlife is going to be 2 Sweeeeet!
This Cheers! is for the Canadian deviant reading these words. To quote Han Solo, "I'll see you in Hell, Hyah"!

Watched an episode of Kolchak the Nightstalker from 1975. "The Sentry" is about a member of a species of bi-pedal alligators living deeper than you would imagine underneath downtown Chicago. Good episode but the effects in this one is man in rubber creature suit. Still lots of fun and guest starring the dad from Happy Days.
